Our Mission Statement

Journey Church of the Highlands exists to be a renewed authentic community learning to rejoice in the infinite value of King Jesus as we journey together to make known His transforming grace in word and deed in all things to the High Country Community.

Andy Hughes: Preaching and Teaching Pastor

Andy became a disciple of Jesus in 1997. He married Tonya in 2001. In August 2008, Andy, Tonya and their two little ones (Charis and Owen) moved to the High Country community to plant Journey Church of the Highlands. Andy enjoys hanging with Tonya and the little ones. He enjoys reading books on theology, philosophy and culture. He also enjoys playing clawhammer banjo and hiking.

Jeff Holder: Mission and Discipleship Pastor

Jeff is married to his best friend Tabatha. Jeff & Tabatha have a son named Nathan, and they are foster parents of two precious little girls. Jeff enjoys reading sociology, theology, and philosophy as well as studying culture in hopes of better communicating the Gospel. He also enjoys watching soccer, playing a little golf, drinking coffee, and having conversations about the simple things in life.
